I started my Pastatarian diet when I was 16, but after another 16 years my skin wasn’t any better, at all.  Now in my 30’s I’m in pain; having hip trouble and my knees are killing me and my hands.  My husband is getting an ear full and I’m still oblivious to my diet.  I started taking lots of supplements msm, chondroitin, and glucosamine for my joints; and that seemed to help for a long time, about 8 years.  I was causing the pain and covering the pain at the same time. Lol

But when It really hit me was in my 40’s, the pain escalated and the supplement made no difference.  So the doctor recommended MRI’s on my knees and my lower back, oh I was having trouble with my lower back too, by then.  Well I was told to expect knee replacements in a few years and they offered no help; but in the mean time I spent a lot of $ at the chiropractor, to help keep me straight and inline. I still love the chiropractor!

Oh, I forgot to tell you that I got the idea from a friend to do a colonics treatment; one time when I was in my 30’s.  I could kick myself a thousand times for not really listening to what she said.  I had just recently eaten a vege pizza because that’s on the Pastatarian diet, right?  She said it looks like your colon doesn’t react to wheat very well, and maybe you shouldn’t eat it.  Did I listen????? No, and why because I want to eat, what I want to eat.  Besides I didn’t know that it was causing my pain and inflammation; so would it have made a difference, maybe I wasn’t in enough pain yet.  I don’t know!

Well it took me a few years to get a clue. At age 47 I started hearing about gluten intolerant people; and a light bulb lit up and I remembered what the lady said about me.  I finally stopped eating wheat, and a few other things that aggravated my joints. Also I take some great supplements and with my gluten free diet.  I can not only walk fine, but I can RUN at age 54. For the most part I am pain free.  My skin still breaks out if I don’t use Nothing to Hide!  My conclusions is ACNE is some crazy stuff and it’s in my DNA ,not my diet.
